Meet Dr. Harnick

Dr. David Harnick attended the University of Maryland where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After a successful career as a general dentist, he then attended the University of the Pacific for an additional two years and was awarded a Masters in the Science of Dentistry (MSD) with a specialist certificate in orthodontics. The University of the Pacific Orthodontic Program is well known for its treatment of young children and hence is a major influence on Dr. Harnick’s philosophy. Dr. Harnick has been certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is also a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has lectured nationally on orthodontics and Invisalign®.

Dr. Harnick maintains a professional membership in the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, the New Mexico Dental Association, the Albuquerque District Dental Society, and the College of American Board of Orthodontics. He is a board member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontics. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Harnick is a past president of the New Mexico Association of Orthodontics. He has been voted Best Orthodontist in ABQ the Magazine three times.
